The stage is set for the stepladder finals with Carlos for Sport Uniform, Orient Watch and RJ Transient House as the three teams to make the grade from the semifinals during the 20th week in the Jeddah Thursday Bowling League 10th Season at the Bowling City in Sultana Mall.

Carlos, Orient and RJ teams finished with the highest scores during the three games with handicap knockout for teams that did not qualify outright in the five-man team Thursday night event.

Carlos returned the top tally of 2,840 pinfalls, Orient Watch carded 2,828 and RJ compiled 2,736 pinfalls.

Missing the cut were Taurus RDLR 2,727 and Jeddah 500 2,689.

The three waiting finalists are No. 1 D’ Barkads, Sarawat Superstores-Bowling-City and Habagat.

Teams 4, 5 and 6 play play two games with handicap with the winner to play against No. 3 Habagat in the first match stepladder match.

The first match winner goes on to face No. 2 Sarawat in a knockout game for the right to challenge D’ Barkads for the championship in a twice to beat format.

Tito Cruz and Carlos Constantino bowled big for the Sport Tailors on 500 and 599 to go with the 534 by Hani Dawood, 160-183 by Jeff San Pedro, 186-187 by Pancho Cuevas and 150-183 by Archie Santos.

The Watch makers had Jowet Carrion at the top of the scoring ladder on 587 followed by Danny Bautista 568 and Abdul Obie Ycasas 524. With two games each were Elo Manalo 172-186, Rico Nery 149-182 and Jay Bengco 209-193.

The scorers at RJ were Richard Junio 592, Ding Dela Rosa 553, skipper Rudy Jaon 552, Jameel Gabrera 156-187 and Joel Nidoy 175.
