Carlos Sports Wear notched a perfect Team of the Week and men’s Bowler of the Week double during the ninth session in the OFBC 4 + 1 Friday Afternoon League Season 3 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Bouncing back from a defeat by RTJ Transient House in their rematch the previous week, Carlos shut out The Youngsters 20-0 and with a top total output of 2,256 reached the maximum possible total win points of 28. Youngsters totaled 2,074 pinfalls.

In contrast, RTJ suffered a 12-8 defeat at the hands of Archie & Company in a stunning reversal that allowed Carlos to gain ground on league-leading RTJ.

Also, Archie grabbed a share of the day’s honors courtesy of the jolly Fuly S. Primo who was named the ladies Bowler of the Week after she carded the top score of 551 in her division.

Elsewhere, Pairs and Spares hammered out a 12-8 victory over D’ Luf’s Strikers on total pinfalls of 2,007-1,941, rank points of 4-1 and total win points of 16-9, while The Replacement 2 and Red Dragon battled to a 10-10 draw (2,089-1,962 7-3 17-14).

Jameel Gabrera sealed the Carlos double when he shot the high series of 584 to claim the individual award on the men’s side. Carling Constantino, and Shirley Sagmit made sure Gabrera’s effort did not go for naught with solid rounds of 574 and 546, while Gino Vallejos and Louie Pacia each contributed two games of 175-167 and 159-144.

As well as Primo Benj Espinosa played a big part in Archie getting 17 points in a tie with Replacement as he drilled 516 to go with the 149-116 by team captain Archie Alcantara, 116-126 by Puri Parena and 155-160 by Lexter Atienza.

Conrad Baltazar and Mia Cedotes led the Pairs charge with 551 and 518 with Jhune Estefano and Alona Antinero rounding out the scoring on 494 and 444.

For Replacement the duo of Jhun Ejanda and Rudy Ramos led the way on 570 and 528, while the Red Dragon had Cesar Pagtalunan at the helm on 516.
