OAKLAND, California: Stephen Curry had 34 points and nine assists, Klay Thompson scored 22 points and the undermanned Golden State Warriors rallied from 16 down in the first half to beat the Chicago Bulls 102-87 on Thursday night.

With big men Andrew Bogut and David Lee sidelined with injuries, Golden State’s streaky backcourt tandem found its shooting stroke after falling behind 34-18 in the second quarter. Curry finished 13-for-19 shooting, and Thompson shot 8 of 16 from the floor to give the Warriors’ raucous fans a reason to cheer after losing five of their previous seven at home.

Nets 103, Spurs 89: Reserve forward Alan Anderson scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half and the Brooklyn Nets ended a six-game losing streak against the San Antonio Spurs with a 103-89 victory on Thursday.

Point guard Deron Williams added 16 points and eight assists for the improving Nets, who won for the 12th time in 16 games.

Forward Paul Pierce added 12 points, reserve center Andray Blatche contributed 10 points and starting center Kevin Garnett collected eight points and nine rebounds in 18 minutes.

Guard Cory Joseph led the Spurs with 18 points, forward Danny Green added 17 points while reserve guard Patty Mills chipped in with 16.

The Nets improved to 22-25 to strengthen their hold on seventh place in the Eastern Conference while the Spurs dropped to 36-14 but remain second in the West.
