D’ Luf’s Strikers ended their chase for Team of the Week award after they outpointed the field during the 9th session in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 2 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Luf’s got the automatic 20 match points on board against the bye team and along with 6 rank points off total pinfalls of 2,592 garnered 26 total win points that stood unchallenged to the end.

League leading RTJ Transient House was second on the day with 25 points after crushing previous week honoree American Garden 18-2 on total pinfalls of 2,632-2,550 and rank points of 7-5.

To Mixed Shots belonged the highest rank points of 8 but they could only finish on 24 total win points after their match with D’ Cyclone 2 ended 16-4 in their favor on total pinfalls of 2,635-2,466.

This match produced the top individual performers — ladies Bowler of the Week Carms Lim from Mixed Shots and men’s Bowler of the Week Arman Gamboa from D’ Cyclone. Carms shot 566 and Gamboa 581.

In the other match, Pairs & Spares hammred out a 16-4 victory over TFSJ Pin Crusher on total pinfalls of 2,173-1,954, rank points of 4-2 and total win points of 20-6.

Cesar Pagtalunan and Caloy Nuguit carded the leading scores of 521 and 514 at Luf’s. Backing them up were Alexander Duma 494, co-captain Danny Atubang 180-175, Carmen Duma 122-108 and Farida De Guzman 111-120.

RTJ built its total behind the solid quintet of Malou Nidoy 564, Richard Junio 556, Joel Nidoy 552, Ed Cordova 501 and Hadi Pacheco 459.

Besides Carms Jojo Esperanzate was the other player to shine at Mixed Shots on 561. Vangie Lim was the third Mixed Shots bowler to go the distance on 469, while team captain Toto Lim added 190-150, Vic Gonzales 137-174 and Rudy Valenzuela 121-127.

The trio of AkangVictorino, Conrad Baltazar and Jhune Estefano led the Pairs onslaught on 561, 532 and 464 in that order.
