JEDDAH: Aquafina Rapid Tech’s Fahad slammed a magnificent 127 runs, which helped his team score a comfortable 43-run win over Rapid Tech in the MoneyGram Morning League cricket held under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Western Province Cricket Association here.

Lacking not far behind was Ali Nawaz who steered Dopco Young Stars past Thales Group by 49 runs.

Others who performed well on the day were: Irfan Qureshi, Javed, Abdullah Shah, Zeeshan and Usman Gulab

In the Premier Division league, IDB put up 158 for 5 against Crown Steel. Thanks to Zeeshan Saherwardy’s 71 runs. Abuhuraira impressed with his bowling and claimed 3 for 27. In reply, Crown Steel were bowled out for 146 runs. Qaiser Iqbal top-scored with 45 runs. Abdullah Shah claimed 3 for 11. Zahid and Yasir shared 4 wickets.

In another match of the same division, Ather’s 51 helped Pepsi Deccan Knights put on board 149 for 6. Dopco achieved their target for the loss of 5 wickets. Asim was the highest run-getter with 47 runs. Ather bagged 2 wickets.

Elsewhere, Al Saudi managed 172 for 8 against AOT. Sajid top-scored with 57 runs. Qaiser Lateef took 3 for 26 while Nasir Iqbal and Abbas scalped 2 wickets each. In reply AOT scored 174 for 5 off 110 balls. Tahir remained unbeaten with 59 runs. Aseer Ashraf took 2 wickets. AOT won by 5 wickets.
