Kanoo Travels will meet Kanoo Freight in the final of the Kanoo Inter-Division cricket tournament in Riyadh today. In the semifinals recently, Freight scored a comfortable 61-run win over Finance.

The highlight of Freight’s win was the fine all-round performance by Ranjith who scored an unbeaten 23 runs later bagged 3 wickets.

Sent into bat by Finance skipper Arun, Kanoo Freight scored 114 for 7 in their allotted overs. Opening batsman Sadiqulla scored fine 25 and was well supported by Vasanth (13), Qadir (25) and Ranjith (23 n.o.) Jaffar and Ranjith took 2 wickets each while Sahir and Shabbir bagged one wicket each for the bowling side.

Chasing a stiff target, Kanoo Finance started badly, lost wickets at regular intervals and were restricted to 53 for 9. Ranjith bagged 3 for 15 while Qadir and Bashir took 2 wickets each.

The final will be played today.
