Jokers followed their opening day victory with an 80-73 triumph over Mastoura Electric Co. while Haramain High Speed Railway and SBG Advance Vision both played their first game against each other with the win going to Haramain during the second week of action in the Bouncing 2013 1st Indomie-SBA Invitational Basketball Tournament at the newly refurbished basketball court of SNC (Safari New Camp) King Abdulaziz International Airport on the outskirts of Jeddah.

Coming off a 75-59 win over GACA-ANS Jokers with playing coach Jon Azupardo at the helm carried their momentum into the payoff period to score the win.

In addition to Azupardo the Jokers got contributions from the Jay Sipat, Ember, Harun, Joel, Larry, Franklyn, Eric and Rex.

The losing team was bannered by its manager-coach Ronyl Sipe. The others on the team are Joel and Leo Lopez, Speedy Abdulaziz, Cuevas, Cortez, Araza, Suganob, Mamokhan, Talania, Morales and Lumapag.

In the second game, GACA-ANS got back on track after the Jokers defeat with a 79-61 thrashing of KAIA Heat.

GACA-ANS was never really threatened from the get-go and led by as many as 13 points. Heat tried to rally from eight points down in the third quarter to no avail. GACA-ANS profited from the barreling rebounds of JJ Saliwan and Casupanan, sweet-shooting ability of playing coach Edmund Icaualo and fastbreak drives by Lagnayo.

Haramain High Speed Railway mentored by Richard Caluncagin with cousins MJ Ramos Calungcagin and team coordinator Jim Mosnge outshone SBG Advance Vision in a hard fought encounter.

Newcomer Paglinawan seeing n action for the first time led SBG with 16 points.

The three months long league is organized by Safari Basketball Association (SBA-KAIA) — King Abdulaziz International Airport under the leadership of its founder-chairman-commissioner Master Nestor Cuizon Suliva, with the able support of Adviser Rey ‘Amarz’ Amarille.
