JEDDAH: Sultan Hamdi and Sami Al-Shammari will lead the Bakhashab Isuzu Rally Team in the T2 Category in the Jeddah Rally that will hit the road at the end of this month.

This was announced by the Bakhashab Holding Group at the press conference at their headquarter here.

Experienced Sultan Hamdi is one the driven program stars broadcasted on MBC Action Channel. On the other hand, Al-Shammari is considered as one of the team pillars for many years. He along with his colleagues has contributed in achieving success in local and regional events.

Isuzu D-Max has emerged winners in the Al-Baha Rally, Hail Rally 2010 (first place), Hail Rally 2011 (third place), Pharaohs Rally 2010 in Egypt (second place) and the Abu Dhabi Desert Rally.

Abdul Rahman A-Haraki, the head of Bakhashab Isuzu Rally Team, expressed his happiness to be part of the rally team said, “We will work harder to compete and achieve success. Our team has the expertise to overcome all difficulties onboard their powerful cars driven by proficient drivers with considerable experience in motor racing.”

” We also have professional Saudi technicians with a great deal of professionalism and all of them are ready to confront the challenge and overcome whatever troubles that may face.” Sultan Hamdi seemed very delighted about his maiden venture with the Isuzu team in this important event, which is held for the first time in Jeddah. He expected the rally to be the most exciting and challenging one, due to the nature of the racing tracks as well as the great participation of local and foreign teams. He appeared confident with teammate Sami and the rest of the members to showcase a place a distinctive imprint in the rally.

Sami Al-Shammari said, “I would like to thank the Isuzu Co. for its tremendous support given to the people of our nation to excel in all motor racing events. We are ready and confident and will do our best. I hope, along with my brother Sultan and the support of Al-Mighty Allah, to achieve a positive result.” It is worth mentioning that Bakhashab Isuzu Rally Team has participated in 6 desert rallies and this will help the team’s march to success.
