RIYADH: International Indian School Riyadh ‘A’ and Pakistan International School Riyadh, Nasriya) were involved in an exiting tie in the only match played in the under-16 section of the Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association at the RCL Complex, here.

The highlight of the match was, impressive performances by Mukul, Haseeb and Abdullah.

IISR put on board 166 runs from the elected overs after they won the toss and elected to bat. Mukul impressed with the bat and played an excellent innings of 63 runs. He was supported Sohail (33) and Aakifean (15). Haseeb and Abdullah bagged 2 wickets for the bowling side.

In reply, PISR did their best to achieve the target but failed to score the winning run, which resulted in a tie and both teams got a point each.

Haseeb (52) and Abdullah (50) provided a good opening stand of 93 runs. Yasin (24) and Waleed (19) were the other batsmen who scored some useful runs for their team. Aamir, Irfan and Ahsan took 1 wicket each.
