JEDDAH: ICAD scored a comfortable 45-run win over Peeran Warriors in the final of the Mini League match of the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badsha Twenty20 held under the auspices of the Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association here.

ICAD won all their three Mini League matches and will now play the winner of the Morning League match between Reel & Rom and MHA to decide the top two positions.

In the final week matches ICAD batted first and were restricted to 147 for 8 off 20 overs mainly due to some fine bowling by Peeran Warrior bowlers Nahdi (4 for 22) and Faraz (3 for 23) who pegged down the batsmen with their accuracy. Only Jinto (31), Shakil (17), Ashkar (12) were the ones to offer some resistance. Thirty-seven runs came in the form of extras.

However in reply the Peeran Warriors faltered against the small target and made a mess of it to be bundled out for a paltry 102 runs. Hussain (3 for 19) and Shad (2 for 17) ran through their batting. Shakeel (14) and Abdul Ghafoor (19) were the only batsmen to reach double figures.

In the other match of the Mini League, Jamco scored 266 for 6. Yousuf (85) and Naeem (66) batted brilliantly with support from Mubashir (28). Shafi picked up 3 for 53.

In reply Ktaykit made a solid reply but fell short by 65 runs as they ended up at 201 for 8. Danish (22), Sarfaraz (34), Suman (20), Suraj (40 not out) were the notable contributors while Faisal Shahzad (4 for 52) and Mubashir (2 for 33) bowled well to give their team Jamco a 65 run win.
