RIYADH: Champions Kricket Klub (CKK) will cross swords with King Faisal Specialist Hospital (Blue) in the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah Cricket Tournament final, held under the auspices of the Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

In the President Division semifinals, CKK outclassed Shouraim by 52 runs while in the other semis KFSH eased past Lahore Lions by 39 runs.

In the Chairman Division semifinals, Pak Shaheen scored a thrilling three-wicket win over Crescent and will take on Amir Holidays in the final, the latter trounced Yusafzayi by 125 runs in the other semis.

CKK made first use of the pitch and were all out for 163. They started off well with Nouman (40) and Sajid (24) but then lost their way in the middle overs by losing quick wickets at regular intervals. Later, Basit propped up the innings with a fighting 30 runs. For Shouraim, Rizwan picked 4 wickets while Shahnawaz and Abdul Wahid got 3 wickets each.

Chasing a reasonable target, Shouraim made a hash of things and were bundled out for 111.

Rizwan (27) and Zeeshan (22) were the only batsmen who showed some resistance. Ali Shahid was the wrecker-in-chief and picked 4 wickets. Nabeel and Nadeem got 2 wickets each.

In the other match, KFSH Blues won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they were off to a disastrous start as they lost two quick wickets. After the early damage, Irshad Mubashir (94) and Nasir Abbasi (63) held the innings together and guided KFSH Blues to a formidable total of 237. Qaiser Hussain hit quick fire 61 to provide late flurry. Usman and Nawaz picked one wicket each for the Lions.

Lahore Lions started well with Nawaz (48) and Sarfraz (32) but then lost their way by losing quick wickets in the middle. Other notable contributions came from Atif (47) and Mansoor (22). Saqib bagged 3 wickets while Usman and Irshad got 2 wickets each.

In the Chairman Division, the match between Pak Shaheen and Crescent was a thrilling affair and could have either way.

Crescent took first strike and posted 182 runs. Faisal top-scored with 57 runs. Other major contributors were Usman (33), Moazam (24) and Shahzad (21). Abdul Waheed was the pick of the bowlers for Pak Shaheen who bagged 4 wickets. Abdul Wahab chipped in with 2.

Pak Shaheen in reply lost early wickets, but Abdul Waheed (53) held the innings together. Abdul Qadir (33), Abdul Salam (32) and Abdul Wahab (24) scored and helped their team enter the final. Mohsin picked 3 wickets while Faisal got 2.

Later, Amir Holidays batted first put on board 264 for 8. Sami Arshad (67), Irfan (54), Kamran Hadi (33), Shahbaz (31) and Imran (25) made that possible. Yassir picked 3 wickets while Fahad got 2. Chasing a huge target, Yusafzayi XI crumbled under pressure for 139. Tariq (48) and Altaf (30) were the only two who could face the rival bowling attack. Kamran Hadi did most of the damage and picked up 4 wickets.
