JEDDAH: Favorites Barkatiya and Ford Titans scored contrasting wins to make it to the Super 8 knockout stage of the Ford Jeddah Champions Trophy 12-over hard tennis ball cricket tournament at the Sulemania grounds, here.

In their last league match, Barkatiya eased past Eleven Brothers by 7 wickets while Famous XI went down fighting to Ford Titans by four runs.

In the Super 8 line-up it will be: Azizia Deccan vs Ford Titans, Elseif Strikers vs Barkatiya XI, Konkan vs Azizia and ICC vs Super Chargers.

For Barkatiya it was a walk in the park against Eleven Brothers as they first reduced their rivals to 62 runs from their stipulated overs and then chased it down with utmost ease in 10.1 overs for the loss of only 3 wickets.

Man-of-the-Match: Shahed

In the other match, Ford Titans were made to work extremely hard for their win. Famous XI had the match under control throughout except toward the end. Ford Titans posted a challenging 82 runs. In reply Famous were all out for 78 runs.
