Kabbani scored a comfortable 5-wicket win over Indo Ryders in the Division-I, 40-over cricket league match for the Jotun Paint’s Cup organized by the YACA here. The hero for Kabbani’s victory was Fahad’s unbeaten match winning 61 runs. Earlier Indo Ryders were bundled out for 107 off 33 overs with Faizal staging a lone battle with a stubborn 30 runs. Aamir took 3 for 11.

In reply, Kabbani got the required runs off only 18 overs. Fazal and Abid bagged 2 wickets each for 17 and 14 runs respectively.

Man-of-the-Match: Fahad.

Almuzain-XI’s Ashraf scored a brisk 68, which helped his team score a thumping 106-run win over Pak Green. Zaheeruddin was the other batsman who impressed with 43 runs. Asad took 3 for 27 while Qadeer got 2 for 19.

Almuzain scored 160 runs in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Pak Green were bundled out for 54 runs off 16 overs. Gul was the only batsman who put up some resistance and scored 29. Abdullah had 2 for 2 while Fahad, Qaiser, Zaheeruddin and Sarfaraz took a wicket each.

Man-of-the-Match: Ashraf.

In the Division-I, 40-over match, Pak Crescent routed Saudi Ossan by 129 runs. Ali Shan (75) and Sarfaraz (78) were the main run-getters. Only Waqas stood against Pak Crescent bowlers scoring 52 runs. Jahanzeb and Nadeem took two wickets each giving away 19 and 35 runs respectively.

Man-of-the-Match: Sarfaraz.

In the Division-I 20 overs match, Cristal XI beat Shah XI by 65 runs. Cristal XI’s Abdul Moiz (20) and Ahmedullah (21) did their best. Cristal put on board 148 for 9 in the allotted overs. Moharram took 3 for 22 and Iftikhar 2 for 21.

Shah-XI were all out for 83 runs. Iftikhar (31) and Tariq (20) were the only batsmen who stood up to the rival bowlers of which Nasir impressed with 3 for 13. Naseem, Fazal and Naqeb took two wickets each.

In another match, Pak Cresent ‘B’ edged past GT Warriors by 3 runs. GT Warriors won the toss and elected to field. Rashid and Saadat scored 21 runs each. However, the highest runs came in the form of extras, which was 30. Rifwas had 2 for 18. Shams and Shabeer Shah scored 36 each but disciplined bowling and tight fielding restricted GT Warriors to 129.Mohsin took 4 for 23 while Rashid got 2 for 27.

Man-of-the-Match: Mohsin.

Saudi-XI were bowled out for 88 off 17 overs against Man Health-XI. Abdullah scored 35 runs. Nayyar and Faisal bagged 2 wickets each. Man Health achieved their target in 13 overs. Muneeb top-scored with 63 runs.
