RIYADH: Kingdom Equestrian Team, owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, Chairman of the Kingdom Holding Company, won top honors in the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Festival endurance race held in Al-Ula Province, the Kingdom team’s 62th international title.

International jockey Yaqub Al-Unizi bagged the first position.

Prince Faisal bin Salman, governor of Madinah province, presented the trophy to the winners.

Prince Salman also praised the supporters and organizers for their efforts in organizing the event.

Al-Unizi, Kingdom team member and led by coach Najeeb Al-Nasser, supervisor of the private stables of Prince Alwaleed, dedicated this accomplishment to Prince Alwaleed.

Prince Alwaleed said, “We dedicate the team’s achievement to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

Prince Alwaleed, continues to support and care about athletes in Saudi Arabia, equestrian in particular, which has received considerable funding from the prince during last decade.
