MC Hammer went just 2 points shy of perfect on 54 as the runaway Team of the Week in a prodigious display during the 11th session in the Faris Monday Night Bowling League 18th Season at the Jeddah Lanes in Mossadia Plaza here.

Backed by the night’s highest phantom score of 875 (299, 288 and 288) MC Hammer totally separated itself from the rest of the teams with Faris Entertainment Center six points adrift on 48 followed by Blue Diamon 47 and D’ Barkads 43.

Sarawat Superstores came in fifth with 38.5 points while Taurus RDLR, Boungaville Phil, Jem Strikers and Scorpion Knights compiled 35, 27, 24.5 and 33 points in that order. Jeddah Lanes and Brothers 4ever tied on 22. League leader HBMR Nanding could only muster 19 points while Mottawer Engineering and Selecta Ice Cream brought up the rear on 11 and 6 points.

D’ Barkads in the second game and Blue Diamond in the third foiled what could have been a perfect 56 for MC Hammer, which had to settle for second in those games while winning the first game and overall output.

Zaldy Bacero led the Hammer charge on 675. Jay Bengco was chief in backing Bacero on 660 while Randy Mata and Robert Stone contributed 645 and 610.

Nick Gozun and Danny Bautista led Faris on 630 and 624 with Gerry Mandanas on 598 and Edu Toledo on 591.

Ahmed Sindi shone brightest for Blue Diamond, shooting a Bowler of the Week award-winning series of 698 on lines of 223, 221 and 254. Mohd Al Amri added 626 to go with the 569 by Abdul Rahman Fakie and 548 by Naif Al Qarni.

The quartet of Bonnie Garcia, Leo Edejer, Rey Beltran and Amro Al Amri built D’ Barkads total on 624, 612, 611 and 533.

At Sarawat the top scorer was Igna Salgado on 636 followed by Atoi Cruz 599, Ding dela Rosa 581 and Mao Orolfo 518.

Taurus had Nap Patayan hitting the highest score at 595 with Jimmy Urbano on 586, Raul delos Reyes 577 and Edwin Ronquillo 531.

Archie Santos paced Boungaville on 628 while Jeff San Pedro was the main man at Jem on 598.

Meantime, the FTBJ monthly final will take place on Thursday at the Jeddah Lanes, according to organizers. All FTBJ male members are invited to participate.
