MADINAH MUNAWWARA: United Cricket Club will cross swords with My Care Hala in the final of the MoneyGram Twenty20 Tournament, organized by Madinah Cricket League under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Center, here.

In the semifinals UCC thrashed AOT by six wickets while My Care Hala got the better of Pak United by 72 runs.

In the first semifinal, AOT put into bat by UCC posted 147 in the allotted overs. Omar Sohail (41), Madni (25) and Shamshad (21) were the main run getters. Amir Shahzad bowled devastatingly to take 5 wickets while Khurram scalped 3. UCC achieved the winning target after the 15th over for the loss of four wickets. Amir Shahzad top-scored with 48 runs. Saleem (41) and Tariq (20) were the other contributors. Akram bagged 3 wickets.

In the other semis, My Care Hala opted to bat first racked up 238 for 5. Thanks to Musawwer’s brisk 59 runs. Salman (23), Yunus (50) and Azeem Shahzad (34) were the others who scored. Asif grabbed 3 wickets for the bowling side.

In response Pak United folded for 166 runs. Kashif Awan (27), Iqbal (22) and Tauqeer (36) did their best. Shahid Mehmood took 4 wickets, Yunus 3 and Ishtiaq got 2.
