JEDDAH: Islamic Development Bank (White) scored a convincing five-wicket victory over IDB (Green) during the second week of the Intra-Bank cricket tournament, at the Greenlawns ground, here.

In the other matches, IDB (Red) got the better of IDB (Blue) 32 runs. Later, IDB (Blue) staged a comeback to oust IDB-Green by 27 runs.

IDB-White scored 91 runs from their stipulated 12 overs. Mustafa was the highest scorer with 44 runs.

In reply, IDB-Green managed 86 from the stipulated over to lose by 5 wickets. Ridwan scored an unbeaten 48 runs followed by Omar’s 18.

Man-of-the-Match: Mustafa.

In the second match, IDB-Red made first use of the track and added 133 runs. Hamza scored a match winning 71 runs. Adnan Bintori (15) and Rashid (12) were the other scorers. Rashid, Zeeshan and Inam got 2 wickets each.

In reply IDB-Blue fell short by 32 runs as they were all out for 102 runs. Skipper Muzammil was the highest scorer with 29 runs.

Man-of-the-Match: Hamza Hashimi.

Later, IDB-Green batted first and put on board 120 runs. Shahzad Janjoa top scored with 42 runs followed by Zaheer Malik (15) and Ramzan (12).

In reply IDB-Blue reached their target for the loss of 2 wickets. Opener Irfan Baig was instrumental in his team’s victory with a match winning innings of 74 runs. Shaharyar supported him with 24. Emaduddin bagged 3 wickets.
