Pairs & Spares notched a Team of the Week and men’s Bowler of the Week double on a day when TFSJ Pin Crusher became the third different team to hold the lead after the fourth session in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 2 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Captained by Jhune Estefano, Pairs shut out D’ Luf’s Strikers 20-0 and ended the session on 26.5 points after its total pinfalls of 2,629 gave it rank points of 6.5.

The top rank points of 8 went to TFSJ Pin Crusher as it slammed 2,685 total pinfalls in a 17-3 victory over Mixed Shots which returned total pinfalls of 2,415 for 3 rank points and 6 total win points.

TFSJ finished on 25 points for the week in a tie with D’ Cyclone, knocking RTJ Transient House out of first place in the team standings after Rudy Jamon’s team, which had led for two weeks vice Cyclone, nosedived following consecutive weeks as Team of the Week.

RTJ suffered a 16-4 defeat at the hands of American Garden on total pinfalls of 2,629 and 2,607. It was such a bad day for RTJ it could only total 8 points while American Garden had 22.5.

Cyclone, in third place in the standings behind TFSJ and RTJ, was the beneficiary of playing the bye team hitting 2,622 pinfalls.

Conrad Baltazar set up the Pairs double when he rolled the high series of 586 to go with the 506 by Estefano, 492 by Joey Calapatia and 496 by Akang Victorino. Rey Beltran added 192-178 and Nap Patayan had 161.

TFSJ took its share of the week’s awards courtesy of Sharmaine Patayan who emerged the ladies Bowler of the Week on 564. Skipper Jayme Lugue, Jhun Ejanda and Rudy Ramos came through with 551, 536 and 513 in that order. Mildred Florentino shot a pair of 115s and Allan Salamanes contributed 153 to complete the TFSJ scoring.

American Garden had four players going the distance with Jameel Gabrera on 559, Shirley Sagmit on 516, Lito Delos Reyes on 501 and Mar Ilagan on 492. Team captain Robert Stone tallied 173-201.

For Cyclone the scorers were Aisah Silabay 539, Thong Langa 509, Med Ramos 501, To Lnaga 476, Robert Gamboa 221-159 and Bash Langa 163.
