MADINAH: My Care Hala, Pak United, AOT and UCC entered the semifinals of the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah cricket tournament, organized by the Madinah Cricket League, here.

In the quarterfinals, AOT routed Crown Steel by 8 wickets, UCC thrashed My Care Hala Eagle by 4 wickets, My Care Hala trounced Crown Blue by 25 runs and Pak United got the better of My Care Hala Young Stars by five runs.

In the best match of the day, Pak United put up 178 for 5. Thanks to Kashif Awan (52) and Imran (36). Hamza bagged a couple of wickets for the bowling side. In reply, My Care Hala Young Stars fell short and finished with 173 for 5. Abdullah led the chase with a well made 50 followed by Ismael 41. Ahsan impressed with 4 wickets while Iqbal got 2.

In the first quarterfinal, Crown Steel batted and scored 162 for 9. Noumi (44) and Mudassir (34) were the main scorers. Mazher, Omer Sohail and Aleem grabbed 2 wickets each. AOT reached their target for the loss of 2 wickets. Aleem hammered a match winning 84 runs supported by Omer Sohail’s 30. Irfan claimed 2 wickets

In another match, My Care Hala Eagle compiled 175 against UCC. Fahad (35), Nadeem (30) and Usman (36) were the notable scorers. Amir, Khurram and Imtiyaz shared 4 wickets.

UCC were home for the loss of 6 wickets. Amir (45) and Khurram (38) did their best. Abdul Wahab and Usman grabbed 2 wickets each.

My Care Hala piled up 200 for 6. Hasnain top-scored with 75. Sohail took bagged 2 wickets. Crown Blue were restricted to 175 for 8. Imran scored 49 runs. Yunus and Hasnain grabbed 3 wickets each.
