RIYADH: Pakistan Falcons eased past Friends XI by 83 runs in the Chairman Division round five match of the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah Twenty20 cricket tournament, held under the auspices of the Saudi Cricket Association and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association, here.

Pakistan Falcons scored 169 runs. Notable contributions came from Waqar (62), Ahmed (52) and Abdullah (38). Abdulrahman and Anees grabbed a wicket each. Friends XI in reply were bundled out for 86 runs. Fakhar (29) and Yassir (25) were the main scorers. Hamza Abbasi picked 3 wickets while Tilla, Abdullah and Ahmed took 2 wickets each.

In another match, Lahore Cricket Club (LCC) got the better of Kohsar Cricket Club (KCC) by 66 runs. LCC put up a mammoth 249 runs. Salman Butt played an excellent unbeaten knock of 141. Amir (45) and Asif (24) were the other scorers. KCC in reply managed 183. Meraj Abbasi (86) and Qasim Abbasi (51) did their best. Ramzan picked 3 wickets while Asif got 2.

Punjab Lions beat Kingdom Warriors by 28 runs. Punjab Lions batted first and scored 137 runs. Ahmed (42) and Asmat (22) were the main scorers. Warriors scored 109. Ahmed took 3 wickets, Asmat and Usman picked 2 each.

Crescent routed MPCC by 5 wickets. MPCC were bowled out for 93 runs. Sultan was the highest scorer with 52 runs. Latafat picked 3 wickets while Omar got 2. Crescent achieved the target after 9.5 overs. Faisal scored 37. Sultan took 4 wickets.

Pak Shaheen batted first and put on board 252 runs. Yasir (65), Waheed (40), Faisal (35) and Ibrar (28) made that possible. Falcons were restricted to 164. Iftikhar and Abdulwahab took 2 wickets each. Pak Shaheen won by 88 runs.

Amir Holidays got better of Imran XI by 5 wickets. Imran XI scored 177. Adeel picked 3 wickets. Amir Holidays achieved the target off 17.2 overs. Amir Holidays lost some early wickets but Imran Ahmed’s 81 helped his team reach the target comfortably. Irfan contributed 29 runs.

Sulaiman XI beat Grundfos by 56 runs. Sulaiman XI scored 229 for 5. Thanks to Mudassir (60), Shakeel (53), Sulaiman (51) and Shoaib (36). Ali picked 2 wickets. Grundfos in reply managed 173. Rias (75), Alvi (34) and Faris (26) were the main scorers. Sulaiman picked 2 wickets.

Seham made short work of Royal Academy of Cricket (RAC) by 91 runs. Seham put up 189 runs. Waseem (58), Tanvir (29) and Waqas (24) were the main scorers.

RAC in reply managed only 98. Waheed was the highest scorer with 64 runs. Tanvir took 3 wickets while Majid and Nasir got 2 each.

Hyderabadi Warriors beat Pak Eagles by 2 wickets. Pak Eagles scored 112. Mubashir and Imroz took 3 wickets each. Warriors achieved the target after 17.2 overs. Mubashir (35) and Imroz (32) were the main contributors.

In the President Division, Lions XI beat Punjab Stars by 23 runs, KFSH got the better of Saudi Jaguars by 37 runs, Lahore Lions eased past Lahore Badshah Green by 5 wickets. KFSH Green thrashed White Star by 7 wickets and CKK crushed Lusine Cricket Club by 9 wickets.
