After a defeat the previous week, team captain Rudy Valenzuela together with Richard Antonio, Romy Bunagan and Jimmy Aragones took charge and with solid backups from Ed Cordova and Minda Guevara Pin Rockers crushed Petromin Express 18-2 during the fifth session in the Friday Morning Bowling League 12th conference at the Bowling City here.

There was parity on the outset with both sides on 2-2 points at scratch of 1027-1018 for Pin Rockers and 1162-1154 for Petromin Express with Jerry Carredo on 240.

But the last two sets saw Pin Rockers rock hard in which Valenzuela, Antonio and Guevara combined scratch of 624 to blank Petromin 1135-1048 and 1262-1192, as Heredia, Allego and Santos could only hit 573 in game 2.

Rolly Vistal and Alma Bacero responded on the last salvo but Aragones and Valenzuela sealed another 201 and 203 to once again eclipse Petromin and put Pin Rockers in control all the way to the Team of the Week honors at total pinfalls of 3626-3532. Valenzuela, Aragones, Bunagan and Antonio combined for 2479 while Cordova and Guevara added total of 1147.

Lance & 3rdy was actually winning as skipper Ric Reformado, Elo Manalo, Rene Punzalan, Med Ramos, Shirley Sagmit and team manager Evelyn Santoc outscored Fed Extreme at 2386-2346 after the first two games despite tremendous scoring from Carreon remarkably supported by Robert de Guzman and Cesar Monares.
