Prince Alwaleed bin Talal received Al-Tagadum Sports Club members as well as its football team at Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) headquarters here on Saturday.

Al-Tagadum sports club is chaired by Abdullah Bin Mohammed Alwohaid.

Prince Alwaleed met with Alwohaid and the team and discussed its latest developments and achievements, stressing the need to support sports and the athletes, as well as the establishment of new clubs in the Kingdom so as to enhance the young generation’s athletic skills and to engage it in useful activities.

As a reward, Prince Alwaleed honored the team members with a cash bonus of SR 60,000 in addition to SR 50,000 for the club. In response to the team’s request, Prince Alwaleed also donated a bus to the club, which won first place in the Qassim region championship.

In closing, Alwohaid thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragement to clubs and local sport federations in the country. The team presented Prince Alwaleed with a plaque in recognition of his continued support for the sport and the athletes.
