RIYADH: Twenty-eight teams are in the fray in the Riyadh Twenty20 Cricket League for the Static Zone Cup, which took off at the Riyadh Cricket League Complex, here recently.

The teams have been divided into Super, Premier-I and Premier-II divisions and will be played on the round robin league-cum-knockout basis.

In the Static Zone Company sponsored event, organized by RCL, six matches were played during the first week. Warriors edged past Royal Fighters by two wickets, Flynas Avengers routed Pak Cricket Club by 52 runs, Al Fateh made short work of Maestro by 81 runs, Chanar-XI ousts Deccan Stars by eight wickets, Insaf got the better of Kashmir Press by five wickets, Game Pro struggled to get pass Mughal by three wickets and National thumped Cricketers Club by 62 runs.
