The four-week Ramadan break must have been a boon for The Replacement as it struck for a breakthrough Team of the Week award during the eighth session that marked the start of second round eliminations in the OFBC 3 + 1 Friday Afternoon League 2nd Season at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

It was actually a perfect double for Replacement with team captain Khalid Bustinera dishing a men’s Bowler of the Week award-winning performance in the 20-0 shutout of Pairs & Spares on total pinfalls of 1,801, rank points of 8-3 and total win points of 28 and 3.

Makati Foods drew the bye team for the session but could not capitalize and could only get 2 rank points with total pinfalls of 1,577 to finish on 22 total win points despite an automatic 20 match points.

League leader Red Dragons defeated the Youngsters Revival 12-8 to be on 18 points for the session on total pinfalls of 1,777-1,796 and rank points of 6-7.

Youngsters were on 15 like Versatile Guys 3D, which drew its match with RJ Transient House on total pinfalls of 1,655-1,691 and rank points of 5-4.

Vangie Lim of Youngsters won the ladies Bowler of the Week award on 590.

Allan Salamanes and Fedelyn Bustinera backed up Khalid at Replacement on 590 and 582.

The scorers at Makati Foods were Gino Vallejos 536, Usman de Guzman 526 and Archie Alcantara 515.

Tom Langa posted the top score of 571 at Red Dragons who also drew two-ame contributions of 150-204 from Bash Langa, 159-175 from Thong Mujeeb Langa and 167-165 from Arman Gamboa.

Besides Vangie the others that were on duty for Youngsters were Toto Lim 571, skipper Jerry “Ka Imo” Carredo 206 and Carms Lim 136-161.

Versatile 3D had Danny Francisco at the top of the scoring ladder on 584 with the rest contributing two games. Tirso Bambalan carded a pair of 147s, skipper Danny Atubang made 181-138 and Joel Alegre had 145-159.

Malou Nidoy came through with the top score of 569 for RJ Transient with team captain Rudy Jamon on 540. Hadi Pache added two gmaes of 155-174 and Jack Jarin had one-game 169.
