Sarawat D’ Barkads clinched a Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week double with the lead to boot during an eventful sixth week in the Faris Trading Monday Night Bowling League 16th Season at Jeddah Lanes in Mossadia Plaza here.

Amro Al Amri won his third straight Bowler of the Week to complete a D’ Barkads double. D’ Barkads outpointed everyone to become the Team of the Week on 35 points.

Brothers 4 Ever finished 5 points adrift on 30 with previous week honoree Taurus RDLR on 25.

Jem Strikers had 22 points in a tie with Cee Bee Aviation, but the buzz of the night was the collapse of erstwhile leader Mottawer Engineering, which found itself passed by three teams in fourth place after compiling 16 points in a tie for 8th and 9th places with Kulisap ng Jeddah Lanes. Fairsbowling.com tallied 21 points, MC Hammer had 18 and Boungaville brought up the rear on 15 points.

D’ Barkads returned the best overall output of 3,101 and never placed lower than third in each of the three games they played in a steady display of pin-toppling.

Al Amri rolled the high series of 733 on games of 269, 240 and 224 to show the way for the rest of the D’ Barkads in action on the night. Victor Pagayon, Bonnie Garcia and Jack Jarin shot 677, 589 and 575 in that order, while Leo Edejer added 150-155 and Dan Ednave made 183.

Brothers 4 Ever made some progress to get out of the bottom of the team standings by finishing as the second-best of the night. Their strategy to use a single set of five players was effective: Saleh Sugate tossed in 697, Bader Banjar fired 646, Khalid Tailoni had 573, Mohd. Garout 568 and Saleh Fayez 560.

Taurus enoyed another good scoring night with Nap Patayan on 639, James Galvan on 598 and Larry Santos on 589.

Jem Strikers had the duo of Majid Aslani and Marlon Heredia carding the leading series of 658 and 611 to go with the 577 by Manny Laguardia, 541 by Val Magsino, 172-214 by Jett Santos and 156 by Mike Tambasin.

Goying Salazar and Oca Bernabe led Cee Bee with 647 and 604, respectively.
