On the 14th week of the Alyoum-FBGR Tuesday Bowling league 12th Conference at Universal Bowling Center the UFTBR Team and Bembol Velasco excelled to bag the Best Team of the Week and and Best Bowler of the Week awards respectively.

Alyoum is the tournament sponsor under the aegis of Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

In a battle of the league two top teams, No. 2 UFTBR mentored by Armin Isles beat No.1 UBC Family of Lulu Quejada 21-13 and, as a result , the winner knocked the loser out of the lead in the team standings.

Stephen Solomon led the UFTBR charge by scoring 838 points, with support from Irene Pua 836, Fernie Ballano 810, Rey Bautista 745 and Art Palustre 691.

Though beaten UBC Family gained some consolation when its ace bowler Velasco captured the individual award shooting the high series of 842 points. Abdullah Amoudi added 837, Rodel Maranca 808, Celis Viloria 755 and Dennis Gabriel 678 for UBC.

In another encounter, Breakers mentored by Shakur Kamlian edged EPO-L of Lope Ramirez 12-9 in 2-2 match game. Lefty Frank Ranera top-scored with 784 followed by Shakur Kamlian 723, Butch Espinosa 673 and Alfie Kamlian 663 while Ramon Chua had 633 in three games. Ramirez led the losing team by scoring 759 with Atoi Ramos on 729, Jove Marano 681, Reynald Medina 668 and Danny Nabong 567 points.

TGIT Genesis mentored by Rollie Cleofe upset Die Hard 5 of Ric Urrutia Jr. 18-8. Scorers at TGIT were Lito Vega 884, Rollie Cleofe 761, Bernie Bacani 730, Rizal Dellosa 724 and Angel Caasi 595. Butch Mateo tallied 811 at the helm of Die Hard which also got contributions from Jonathan Tabago 728, Nap Torres 711, Jess Ambon 671 and Rudy Usudan 511.

Tsamba Bowlers mentored by Abdulrahman Ahmed demolished IBG Storm of Ric Singson 20-8. The leading scorer at Tsamba was Marvin Arocena 828 followed by Nina De Vera 793, Leo Mabunga 784, Rasheed Rasheedan 761 and Rico Feria 748 point. Fathi Abdulaziz 807, Ronald Cruz 778, Thong Asuncion 755, Ric Singson 631 and Freddie Solomon 518 bannered IBG.

Other matches: Enigma Strikers of Bandar Al-Marshad beat Alyoum of Emerson17-9, the Minions of Dong Yamco blanked Nelson De Vera’s team T3S Warriors 4-0 (20-4) and Dabarkads mentored by Charlie Cheng edged the new team Almarai CPP of Eduardo Salivio 10-7 in a 2-2 match.
