MADINHA: United Stars, Medina Diamonds and Pak Eagles registered easy wins in MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah cricket tournament, organized by Madina Cricket Association, at the Al-Aqool cricket ground, here.

In the first match of the day, United got the better of Bismillah Cricket Club by four wickets.

Bismillah batted first and put up a score of 138 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Muzammil (28), Mushtaq (25) and Yasin (21) were the main run getters. Mohammed Ali bagged 3 wickets while Imran got 2 for the bowling side.

In reply United Stars achieved the target for the loss of 6 wickets. Mohamed was the highest scorer with an unbeaten 48 runs.

In the second match, Medina Diamonds defeated Hasnain by 8 wickets. Hasnain were bundled out for 96 runs. Abdul Hameed top-scored with 25 runs. Anees claimed 3 wickets. Murtaza and Shoaib shared 4 wickets.

In reply Medina Diamond reached their target after 12 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Ali Shair scored an unbeaten 33 runs and Murtaza 34 not out.

Elsewhere, Pak Eagles scored 180 against Airport XI. Imtiaz hammered 60 while Fayyaz Chauhan got 22. Zakir took 3 wickets and Wasi supported him with 2.

In reply Airport-XI managed only 139 runs. Touseef was the only batsman who put up some some resistance and scored 42 runs. Adnan bagged 3 wickets. Eagles won by 59 runs.
