OKLAHOMA CITY: Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant scored 29 points apiece, and the Oklahoma City Thunder avenged Sunday’s surprising loss to the Los Angeles Lakers by rolling past them 131-102 Thursday night.

Westbrook shot poorly against Lakers on Sunday, but he made 9 of 17 shots and had nine assists in 23 minutes in the rematch.

Serge Ibaka added 15 points, 13 rebounds and a season-high seven blocks for the Thunder, who won their second straight and climbed within half a game of San Antonio for the top record in the Western Conference.

Lakers guard Jodie Meeks, who scored a career-high 42 points on Sunday, was held to 19 on 6-for-15 shooting. Kent Bazemore scored 16 points and Pau Gasol added 14 for the Lakers.

Bulls 111, Rockets 87: The Chicago Bulls beat the Houston Rockets at their own game, knocking down 14 of 24 shots from three-point range to roll to a 111-87 victory at the United Center.

Houston leads the NBA in three-pointers attempted but made just five of 26 from behind the arc.

Chicago forward Mike Dunleavy scored all of his team-high 21 points in the second half after earlier being treated for a gash above his right eye.

Guard Kirk Hinrich added 19 points for the Bulls (36-29) and forward Carlos Boozer scored 18.

Guard Jeremy Lin led Houston (44-21) with 21 points and center Dwight Howard added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Hawks 102, Bucks 97: Guard Kyle Korver scored seven of his 15 points in the final two minutes to help the Atlanta Hawks earn a 102-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Korver made a three-pointer to put Atlanta ahead, then hit an off-balance baseline jumper with 1:11 left to give the Hawks a five-point lead.

The win was the second straight for Atlanta (28-35), which had lost 14 of its last 16.

Milwaukee (13-52) was led by forward Ersan Ilyasova, who had 22 points and 10 rebounds.
