As we went to press Thursday night, the three-day World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) show featuring the world’s best known wrestlers like champion Randy Orton and actor-wrestler John Cena was still under way.

As expected, wrestling patrons and fans — to use an understatement — were and are euphoric. If in the past their eyes were riveted on TV screens in their living rooms as the world’s best— and well-known — wrestlers fought thousands of miles away, they watched them live last night right before their ecstatic eyes.

They had never imagined that they were now watching live their favorite wrestlers at the Green Hall Stadium of the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Olympic Complex in the Saudi capital.

And as expected, as the wrestlers had been wont to do back home in the United States, they showed their antics in proclaiming that they were simply the best of the best to the extreme delight of the adoring audience.

They rose their clenched fists in the air while the muscles all over their body bulged and rippled as the audience incessantly rooted out for them. To the fans, it was a night to remember and look back to across the years simply because they never knew if the same event will happen live again in the Kingdom.

Amid the glee and euphoria, the organizers headed by Ahmed Al-Mashhadi, managing director of Time Events, were smiling from ear to ear, so to speak, for having brought to reality what otherwise could have just been a dream-- giving pure joy to wrestling fans by bringing their favorite wrestlers to fight live before their eyes in the Kingdom.

Aside from Orton and Cena, other wrestlers include Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Ryback and Kofi Kingston.
