The Youngsters Revival took their turn to sizzle, scoring an upset victory over defending champions Red Dragons and claiming Team of the Week honors during the fourth session in the OFBC 4 + 1 Friday Afternoon League Season 3 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

A 16-4 triumph over Red Dragons on total pinfalls of 2,222-1,943 boosted the Youngsters to the day’s best total win points of 24.

Archie & Company followed its Team of the Week-award winning display with another remarkable performance as it blasted D’ Luf’s Strikers 16-4 and in the process produced the ladies Bowler of the Week in Fuly Primo.

Archie ended the day with the second best total of 21.5 points just in front of Pairs and Spares, a 14-6 winner over Carlos Sports Wear on total pinfalls of 2,161-2,155.

Back-to-back Team of the Week and league leader RTJ Transient House posted a 12-8 victory over Replacement 2 on total pinfalls of 2,131-2,081.

The win gave RTJ 16 points on the day with Replacement on 10 behind Carlos Sports Wear which had 11.5.

The mother-daughter team of Vangie and Carms Lim was at the helm of Youngsters, shooting 576 and 569 with the Lim patriarch and team captain, Toto, contributing two games of 167 and 155. Also with two games each were Jojo Esperanzate 152-178 and Delia Javing 113-108.

For the second straight week Primo was in her element conjuring a 628 that trumped all other scores in the distaff side. Lito delos Reyes was the only other bowler to go three games on 500, while team captain Archie Alcantara added 149-129, Hyett An Achai 138-116 and Mar Ilagan 157-156.

Pairs also managed to claim a share of the day’s honors courtesy of skipper Jhune Estefano who emerged the men’s bowler of the Week when he fire the high series of 618 on scratch games of 175, 216 and 191.

Mia Chariz Cedote rolled three-game series of 534 to back up Estefano. With two games apiece were Ed Sardiña 149-211, Jun de Dios 145-175 and Alona Antinero 112-129.

Maloy Nidoy and Kristhea Mae Busico led the RTJ attack on 574 and 572 with Ed Cordova on 517. Completing the scoring were Rudy “RJ” Jamon with 122-144 and Jack Jarin with 154.
