Saudi Falcons duo looking to win at Abu Dhabi GT3 Cup Challenge

The Saudi Falcons Racing duo of Prince Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal and Faisal Binladen are preparing to deliver a swift win at the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East in Abu Dhabi after a failed bid in the first two rounds at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain last month.
Rounds 3 and 4 will be taking place at the weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit. Their main competitor Nabooda Racing’s Clemens Schmidt leads the standings after round two with 50 points, trailed by ATF with 12 points.
Red Bull athlete Prince Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal is confident of ensuring his first race win this season. ”After two rounds in Bahrain and after having studied our competitors, we will make every effort to win in Abu Dhabi. We will follow a new strategy”, he said.
“We know that the championship is still at the beginning and all the drivers have the opportunity to compensate and collect more points. May God be with us to score the win in Abu Dhabi”, he said.
His teammate, Faisal Binladen, missed an entire season of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East last year due to university studies in the United Kingdom, but he is prepared to capitalize on his strong standing at the round two performance in Bahrain and battle out his challenge with close competitor Ziad Ashkanani of Al Nabooda Racing against whom they are trailing by 15 points.
Binladen, who is eager to perform higher in the overall standings, said: “Our target is to continue improving and climb the overall ladder in every race. My target is to win both the silver title and help my team win the title too. Although my teammate Prince Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal didn’t take first place in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi will give us the opportunity to make up for the deficit. We have done some good preparations. We are looking to improve in the championship, and in the coming years”.
