RIYADH: Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al-Saud has signed a contract for the construction of a number of support buildings at Jubail Industrial College.
The contract, worth SR 175.5 million, was signed with the Dammam-based APTC Contracting Co. Ltd., which will undertake the construction of a training center, seven commercial units, a conference hall, a mosque, a security surveillance building, and two water tanks.
The contract also covers construction of car parkings, sidewalks for pedestrians, water and sewage networks, and rain and flood drainage systems, in addition to electricity, telecommunications, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, building management, and fire detection and prevention systems.
Prince Saud recently also signed two contracts worth SR 125 million for implementation of infrastructure projects in the residential areas of Jubail Industrial City and Aziziyah district in Yanbu Industrial City.
In the last eight months, the RCJY awarded contracts valued at SR 3.3 billion for works that included infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, and operational services in Jubail and Yanbu.
