Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has launched a new promotional campaign aimed at roaming customers who visit the Kingdom, including pilgrims and visitors. The campaign, which runs for 6 months, offers many prizes to be won, including the latest smart phones and tablets, at an average of 10 prizes a month. The campaign has already begun.
Promptly after arriving in the Kingdom, customers are welcomed by the country's largest network, and after they select STC they receive detailed information about the campaign through an SMS text message. Immediately thereafter, they receive a 100 voucher points, which are entered into the monthly draw. Each minute used grants the customer 5 additional points, each text message grants 1 point, and each 1 MB grants 10 points. Therefore, roaming customers who use the services extensively increase their chances of winning a prize. For instance, a customer with 300 points increases his/her chance of winning by a ratio of 3:1.
Customers have a chance to win a prize until the end of the 6 month campaign, so that even if they do not win a prize in the first draw, their voucher points are carried on to the next draw. In the event that a winner is not present in the Kingdom, the prize is shipped to their country free of charge.
It is worth mentioning that STC has raised the network capacity, to ensure that all calls are of high quality and without interruptions.
