A Sudanese man convicted of murder was beheaded by the sword on Wednesday in Makkah, the Interior Ministry announced.
Othman Mohammed was found guilty of killing another Sudanese, Salah Ahmed, by repeatedly beating him on his head following a dispute between the two, the ministry said in a statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency. Mohammed's execution raises to 76 the number of people executed so far this year in the Kingdom.
