Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed officially inaugurated the Saudi Water & Power Forum & Exhibition (SWPF) yesterday at Jeddah Hilton.
“SWPF will take a fresh look at the opportunities for participation and will focus on how we can work together to meet growing demand for more efficient use and sustainable water and power," said Abdullah Al Hussayen, minister of water & electricity. Prince Mishaal presented the prestigious SWPF Award for Innovation and the Marafiq Award for Sustainability.
The forum and exhibition will highlight the government’s reforms and programs in these infrastructural sectors and cover topics including water reuse, renewable energy, efficiency opportunities, tariff reform, water and power cogeneration, policy updates, technology and innovation, talent management and membrane technology.
