Top companies accorded The Bizz award

The ceremony for the “world’s most important business award,” The Bizz, was held in Doha, Qatar recently. The Bizz Arabic 2012 was the third ceremony of the year recognizing companies for their outstanding management performance, following the two previous ceremonies in April and June, which took place in Barcelona and a cruise from Miami to the Bahamas, respectively.
The World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB) is a business organization with over 3,000 member companies in 75 countries, and is based in Houston, Texas. WORLDCOB gives out this award to the world’s leading businessmen for their business excellence, demonstrated in the areas of business leadership, management systems, the quality of their goods and services, innovation and creativity and corporate social responsibility, and results obtained.
The high-level diplomatic community representing the UAE, Poland, Singapore, Peru and Oman attended the event and handed out the award onstage to companies from their respective countries.
Awards were given out to companies including Doha Bank, Qatar Airways, Qatar Project Management (QPM), West Bay Petroleum Co. WLL, Al Danah Trading & Contracting Co., Sharq Village and SPA Hotel operated by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company B.V., Al Bateel Group, Electro Mechanical Engineering Company WLL, Integrated Technical Group Co, National Paints Factories Co. WLL, Al Muftah Rent a Car (Qatar), Abu Dhabi University, Nikai Group of Companies, Emirates NBD, Compass Insurance Brokers LLC, Don Rite Consultancy & Design, Avant Holding, North Tours LLC, Zed Communications, Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital ( UAE); National Bank of Bahrain, Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Company “Garmco” (Bahrain); Oman UAE Exchange, Oman Drydock Company SAOC, MG-GROUP, and Saudi Carpet Factory C.
