I am really amazed to read some of the articles taking a dig at religious scholars. I agree that religious scholars should not use any sarcastic comments against anyone, and they must be kind enough to deliver the proper Islamic teachings on a positive note in order to convey the true message of Islam that can be understood properly.
However, women receiving education in foreign universities must not think that they are above Shariah laws; and before pointing fingers they must understand that Shariah laws and Islamic teachings are divine. Women enjoy freedom in Islam. They can pursue education, do jobs, but, like men, they must not transgress the limits that Allah and His Messenger have clearly marked out. I request the writers not to attack religious scholars in their articles. Instead of pointing fingers, they can engage their readers on a plethora of subjects like divorce, reckless driving, drug addiction, effects of smoking, obesity in young generation etc. — Anees Lokhande, Alkhobar
