High jewelry French maison Van Cleef & Arpels has opened its first boutique in Jeddah with its local partner Platinum Sands Company. The inauguration was held in the presence of Guy Chatillon, Van Cleef & Arpels President Europe, CIS & Middle East, Alban Belloir, Van Cleef & Arpels MD Middle East and India, and Nabeel Ali bin Ali Al-Meslemani, vice chairman and EVP of Ali Bin Ali Group and MD of Platinum Sands Company.
Van Cleef & Arpels was introduced in the Saudi luxury market in 2007 with a first boutique in Riyadh. Yesterday, the second boutique opened in Jeddah.
Nabeel Ali bin Ali said: "This opening reassures the success of a long and fruitful relationship between Ali Bin Ali Group and Van Cleef & Arpels. We are happy about the opening of the new Van Cleef & Arpels boutique in the Kingdom, the first in Jeddah. Our relationship with Van Cleef & Arpels does not only symbolize a business correlation but a long-term partnership and a common future vision. This is a proud moment for us as Ali Bin Ali Group is expanding its business in KSA through Platinum Sands Company."
Saudi Arabia is a very important market for Van Cleef & Arpels, said Guy Chatillon. "With the opening of the new boutique in Jeddah now, the ninth in the Middle East, we are developing a strong presence on the regional luxury scene. We are delighted to have Platinum Sands as partner, sharing the same values of long-term vision and excellence to cater to our sophisticated clientele. We invite the jewelry enthusiasts to discover the beautiful creations and superior craftsmanship of the maison in its new address, and enjoy the unparalleled service we pride ourselves on."
