KARACHI: Ashraf Ali Khan, the eldest son of Pakistan’s first prime minister, Liaquat Ali Khan passed away on Monday morning in Karachi, Geo News reported.

Ashraf Ali Khan, 77 a cancer patient was admitted to a private hospital for the last five days, where he died this morning. He leaves behind a widow, a daughter and two sons. His funeral prayer will be offered after Asr prayer at Masjid Shafqat, Gizri.

Born in 1937, Ashraf was just 14 years old when his father was assassinated on Oct. 16, 1951.
