NEW YORK: America’s Republican Presidential front-runner Donald Trump has labeled a nuclear-armed Pakistan as “a very, very vital problem.”

“Pakistan is a very, very vital problem and really vital country for us because they have a thing called nuclear weapons. They have to get a hold of their situation,” said the American billionaire businessman and politician, known for brash statements.

Following the provocative statement, Pakistanis took to Twitter to counter Trump's antics and called him pathological hater and enemy of peace. He also spoke about Sunday’s bomb blast in Lahore.

“When I see that and when I see it put in a park because it was mostly Christians, although many others were killed other than Christians, I think it’s just absolutely a horrible story,” he said about the suicide attack.

When news of the tragic blast at Lahore took place, Trump had tweeted about it and wrote: “I alone can solve.”

This is also not the first time that Donald Trump has voiced his fears regarding Pakistan’s nuclear weapons and their security. Last month, he had said: “I think you have to stay in Afghanistan for a while, because of the fact that you are right next to Pakistan, which has nuclear weapons and we have to protect that. Nuclear weapons change the game.”

Separately, Pakis-tan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has canceled plans to visit the US after the Lahore bombing, the White House said after Sharif and President Barack Obama spoke on phone.
