Zain KSA enhances network capacity to meet Umrah rush

Zain KSA says that the capacity of its network has grown by 20 percent compared to last year in Makkah and Madinah. It has been continuously working on enhancing its network capacity across the Kingdom in a move to meet the increasing rush of Umrah pilgrims during the current Ramadan month. Also, the average of broadband data uploading has increased to reach 217 percent compared to last year.
The company explained that it has utilized all its resources to serve the pilgrims who are coming to perform Umrah, in order to provide them with services based on the latest technology. This comes as a contribution to the services provided by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, which aims to make the journey of the pilgrims as comfortable as possible and provide them with all means of communication that would keep them in touch with the relatives in their home countries at all times.
Zain Saudi Arabia, which owns the most advanced telecommunications network in the Kingdom, indicated that it has worked on the development and expansion of its network with the largest international companies specialized in the field of telecommunications. This has contributed to the development of many of the networks in different countries around the world. It also pointed out that it is working to achieve its strategy that aims to step up efforts to meet the demands of its customers in the provision of all new technologies in communication and IT.
Zain Saudi Arabia has introduced several new services to its subscribers starting from the rollout of a modern mobile phone infrastructure covering more than 91 percent of the populated areas in the Kingdom, where the volume of data transfer has reached 100 MB.
