ALJ’s popularity on Facebook rises

The Arab world ranks fifth in terms of Facebook’s number of users globally with 75% of users aged 18 to 29. Facebookers in the Kingdom represent 21% of the total population. The Kingdom ranks 30th in the world in terms of Facebook use. During the past two years, Facebook users in the Kingdom have increased from 4% to 12% of the total population.
According to Social Watchlist, a service that monitors official Facebook pages from across the Middle East & North Africa, Abdul Latif Jameel Group (ALJ) is ranked first in terms of Facebook users in the Kingdom. Toyota Saudi acquired 240,347 likes, Bab Rizq Jameel, an affiliate of ALJ Community Initiatives, acquired 209,517 likes and Toyota Service Saudi received 123,444 likes, with total likes of 573,308 for the Group.
ALJ is continuously seeking to develop its social communications with the public, taking into consideration that social media users are mostly from the categories that ALJ is targeting, including young people.
