Alsalam Knights Team of the Week in Almarai–FBGR Saturday League

The Alsalam Knights mentored by Bandar Al-Marshad grabed the Team of the Week award by defeating the RG512 for Clothes, while Ronald Cruz of Sebo Boys splashed his deadly form to clinch the Bowler of the Week award during the th 14th session in the Almarai-FBGR Saturday Bowling League.
The event at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) is organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR) and sponsored by Almarai Co.
In a big night for Alsalam Knights the team drew inspired performances from Rollie Cleofe 890, Bandar Al-Marshad 889 and Mario Miranda 803 on the way to an emphatic 24-7 victory over RG512 for Clothes.
Efren Abuyo added 771 and Alfred Valenca 716 for Alsalam.
At the helm of losing team RG512 were Rocky Manipon 831, Rasheed Rasheidan 787 and Noel Marquez 763. The other scorers were Thong Asuncion 405, Archie Oliva 381, Mike Ecalnir 363 and Shakur Kamlina 337.
Cruz shot the high series of 980 (239, 233, 287, 221) as he led Sebo Boys to a 20-10 victory over the Exodus team mentored by Benny Mondoy, with the support from Koko Torres 834, Glenn Dela Cruz 806, Reinier Torres 763 and Angel Caasi 566. Mondoy paced Exodus with 898, Butch Espinosa had 863, Bobby Jamora 753, Mar Queyquep 537 and Joel Lambo 532.
Sponsor team Almarai mentored by Emerson Mitra defeated Proshop Strikers of Ruby Uruttia 18-12.
Top scorer were Fhel Ramos 836 and Joel Batolina 762. Mitra contributed 697 and Jun Daniel 616 in three games played, while the losing team’s scorers were Vic Barrazona 897, Ruby Uruttia 790, Ruel Toledo 742, Ric Uruttia Jr. 725 and Rico Feria 718.
In another match, SABB Tenpin Wizards mentored by Allan Ofreneo edged Expendibles piloted by Hani Al-Nasleh 16-13 in 2-2 games match.
Sammy San Juan was top scorer with 873 points and got a good support from Ric Singson 824, Victor Edan 773, Marvin Arocena 753 and Arnold Jesena 753. Scoring for Expendibles were Hani Nasleh 842, Fathi Abdulaziz 799, Jerry Austria 659, Art Yukong 466, Fahd Al-Haza 423, Erwin Nacario 401 and Jett Cabana 367 pts.
In other matches, Nadec Stokers mentored by Lope Ramires defeated Carry Over of Lulu Quejada 16-9, Eraserheads of Armin Isles edges Alinma Bank of Abdulrahman Ahmed 13-10 in 2-2 win match, while Kapit-Bisig mentored by Clem Ojeda won by default over Alfanar Precast.
