Alsalam Aircraft Company has signed a contract with Max Aviation to maintain five Boeing aircraft 747-300 and 747-400.
For the second time, Max Aviation chose Alsalam to maintain its aircraft used specifically for transportation of pilgrims during the Haj season from different cities in Nigeria. In 2010, Max carried more than 30,000 Haj and Umrah pilgrims.
Max' choice of Alsalam is in light of the high-end maintenance and services the latter offers, which are compatible with international standards for aviation safety. These guarantee the aircraft successfully pass inspection, control, and audit procedures carried out by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) on all national and international aviation companies working in the Kingdom.
Alsalam is licensed by GACA, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and other regional authorities to carry out maintenance work on Boeing 747, 757, and 737; on Airbus 300, 320, 330, and 340; and on Gulfstream aircraft.
Alsalam Aviation Company was established in 1988 under the umbrella of Economic Offset. Its current partners are Boeing Industrial Technology Group, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudi Industrial Development Co., and Al Bilad International for Technical Industries Co.
