RIYADH, 14 December — The veteran and experienced Yuli Braganza of the defending champion, the Pangasinan Strikers team and the Split Converters team keglers unleashed separate deadly forms and styles to capture the Bowler of the Week and the Team of the Week awards, respectively on the 7th week of the SkyFreight Forwarders/OFWBR “Pabongahan” Inter-Province Bowling League at the Riyadh Inter-Continental Hotel Bowling Center.

Braganza, displaying his old forms enable him to name himself as the first player to bag the back-to-back Bowler of the Week title. For his feat, Braganza will receive a personalized OFWBR jacket. Braganza rolled 225, 214, 225 and 189 in four game series scratch and with 8 handicaps per game, he tallied 861 four game series handicap, enough score to add another laurel in his bowling career.

The jubilant Laguna Strikers team keglers shared glory with Braganza by clinching their second team of the week award by collecting 22 big points over the Luzvimin Pin Busters.

The star of the show, the flamboyant Dante “cheeney” Prado seared the lanes to lead in the Laguna Strikers team by posting a series of 748 in four outings. Romy Matic and Jomarie de Luna shared stellar with Prado by carding a series of 584 and 583.

Team captain Rolly Manalang, Jose Concepcion, Cas Encilla and Rod Basilio supported Prado by contributing a separate two game series of 396, 362, 349, and 344, respectively. Boy Galang and Marvin Arocena scored 180 and 156 in one game.

Ed Dalisay, Jojo Miraflor and Fred Zacarias of the Luzvimin Pin Busters team topscored by carding a series of 582, 540 and 500. Nestor Tercio and Hanibal Geronimo submitted a series of 492 and 486 in three games. Malco Muyco pocketed a series of 406 in two outings. Bher del Rosario rolled 342 in two games.

The Bicol Express — Besa II continued their fiery performances to snatch another outstanding win over the Metro Five Stars (20-1). Henry Sonias and Rizal Dellosa exploded a separate four game series of 833 and 806 to be on top in the Bicol Express.

Coming-in next to Sonias and Dellosa was Dick Segovia with a series of 699. Ferdie Ramos toppled 548 points and Toffee San Jose and Ed Sesperes produced a series of 377 and 319 in two games.

Burning the lanes for the Metro Five Stars team is the dynamic tandem of Edwin Batham and Freddie Aquino who fired a separate four-game series of 684 and 652.

Bashal Khalaj scored a series of 591 in four games while Glenn Espiritu had 562 pinfalls in three matches. Ariel Feliciano rolled 473 series and Khaled Seftawi downed 321 points.

Back-to-back Bowler of the Week, Yuli Braganza shone to power the Pangasinan Strikers to overplay the Pampanga Dragons. Fellow Phol Grepo followed by posting a series of 722 while Pep Maghinay snatched a series of 688 in four sets. Jojo Demetrio and Wilson Bacala shared separate three game series of 528 and 524.

Roger Bautista shot a four game series of 752 to be on top in the Pampanga Dragons quintet. Southpaw Frank Ranera sizzled to score a series of 720 in four matches. Raul Villalobos and Rey Lansang compiled a separate four-game series of 680 and 656. Saud Egil knockout a series of 552 in three games.

Other matches: ABB Mixed Stars Bt. Calabarzon (14-4), the Opnel and the Vision 2 got 19 and 17 points, respectively over the bye teams.
