JEDDAH, 26 April — In a high-scoring and changing fortunes match, Kanoo piped Zuhair Zahran in the last over of the match and 5 wickets in hand. Nadir Toor outplayed Juffali Benz for Consolation Cup encounter of the same league. Zuhair Zahran won the toss and elected to bat first. Naeem Amin drew first blood in his second over by having Rashid Malik caught behind. Kaleem (28-4 fours) and Pervaiz (37-3 fours as well as a six) added 44 useful runs. Aslam contributed 19 with the help of one boundary.

Nadir Toor win Consolation Cup

Nadir Toor emerged victorious in the final of the Cnsolation Cup over Juffali Benz. Juffali Benz felt very comfortable after restricting Nadir Toor to 125 runs for nine wickets in the allotted overs and once again Ishaq Chaudhary was pick of the bowlers.

He is short in height and lean in physique but has all the tricks of experienced bowlers in his armory. He claimed 3 wickets for 20 runs. Zahid with his slow left arm bowling had 2 victims for 21 runs. Asim, Shaffiq, Hamid Butt and Nadeem had one wicket each. Aizaz Toor (3 for 12), Ramzan (2 for 34), Hashim (2 for 14), Akram (2 for 18) played havoc with Juffali Benz batting who were all out for paltry 103. Only Hamid Butt (11), Farhan (13), Imran (13), Asim (15) and Sultan (15) reached double figures.
