JEDDAH, 24 May — The Global Distribution bowling team defeated the Malaysian Airlines in the final stepladder match final to emerge as the newly crowned champions on the just concluded All Filipino Tenpin Bowling League held at the Jeddah Bowling Centre (JBC). Also grabbing the bowling limelight was the bankable Hashim Guinomla who rolled his second 300 perfect score. Guinomla was the son of the former Philippine Embassy Consul General in Jeddah, Bahnarim Guinomla. Hashim had on lines of 255, 223 and 300.
The jubilant Global Distribution squad are composed of Jun Pilipina, Ariel Urquia, Jun Palacios, Rene Martinez, Ver Luz, Angel Decena, Dante Calapatia, Rey Abaygar and Roger Abantas.
Consisting the line-ups of the Malaysian Airlines team who secured the second position are Luis Luna, Hashim Guinomla, Chas Balisalisa, Jun Cabral, Danny Cofreros, Randy Mata, Sammy Ocampo, Nonie Yap and Obie Ycasas.
Placing third in the final standings were the keglers of the Skyfreight Forwarders mentored by Emy de Guzman. The members are Bobo de Guzman, Kulot dela Rosa, Joe Flores, Hero Garcia, Rod Morales, Rene Santiago, Edu Toledo, ace Cris Villavelez and the incumbent FTBJ President, Rally Zamora.
The Internet@Kape placed fourth and are composed of Roger Daquioag, Atoy Cruz, James Galvan, Mixi Lechuga, Ronald Mangua, Mar Narvasa, Bert Rodillo, Goying Salazar, Adore Torres, Eddie Tuico and Romy Vargas. On fifth position was the Green Farm team with members Odjie Sagcal, Val Magsino, Fred Mangondato, Mao Orolfo, Nestor Quitevez, Dante Rivero, Rudy Sagum, Igna Salgado and Albert Sarte.
The Tetra Pak squad finished sixth and in the line-ups are Ding Abaygar, Edwin Carrao, Benjie Cyls, Sid Lapena, Leo Laygo, Crlos Masinsin, Jess Pineda, Rudy Punzalan, Rodell Ricafort and Bert Tuvera.
The Big One Chocolates team snatched the seventh position and are composed of Adrian Abrenica, Jerriel Cacao, Jess Escondo, Johnny Estacio, Fred Monzon, Terry Naorbe, Leo Pangilinan, Rey Pormilda, Algier Reganon, Liny Suriaga and Mel Yabut.
