RIYADH, 4 January 2003 — Prince Sultan ibn Salman, president of the Society for Disabled Children in Riyadh, is to open a three-day medical conference in Jeddah on Monday.
The conference, to be held at Karawan Plaza Hotel, will focus on growth disabilities in children. Medical and research personnel and government health officials are expected to attend.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre is carrying out research on children’s growth disabilities.
Such research, which is essential in making a difference to the lives of children and their families, and dedicated staff have given children in the Kingdom more of a chance to live a better quality of life.
