KHAMIS MUSHAYT, 9 January 2003 — At least six shops were burgled in the southern city of Khamis Mushayt Monday night, a newspaper reported yesterday. The thieves escaped with cash, cellular phones, computers and other valuables taken from the shops, Al-Watan said. One shopkeeper said he had opened his business only three days before the incident. Abdullah Al-Shahrani, another owner, said it was the third time that his shop was burgled.
