JUBAIL, 9 January 2003 — Three people were killed and three others were injured in a traffic accident on the Jubail-Abu Hadariya road on Tuesday.
The accident happened when a car crashed with a truck while the truck was trying to make a U-turn.
Maj. Khaled Al-Feda, director of traffic in Jubail Industrial City, said the accident occurred when the six young men were traveling to Abu Hadariya. He explained that the cause of the accident was speeding.
Meanwhile in Saleel, one man was killed and four others were injured when two cars collided head-on while they were traveling on the Riyadh-Saleel Road. Red Crescent volunteers rushed the injured to the local Saleel Public Hospital.
And in another accident in Uhd Rafeeda, five people were injured when two cars crashed, forcing one of them into a water tank belonging to a building under construction.
